Ballasted System
The membrane is laid directly over the underlay and is
secured with ballast. Perfect for old roofs where the
base is in good condition. Removal of the felt is not
necessary, if the flat roof deck is sound. |

Full Bonded System
The membrane is adhered directly to the base with
substrate adhesive (or water based) Not recommended over
felt but ideal for a newly decked roof or flat roof
decking that is clean and dry. (See flat roof pictures
below) |

Mechanically Attached
Rubber strips are laid over the underlay forming a grid.
These strips are secured by metal plates and screws. The
flat roof membrane is bonded directly to this grid. Can
be fitted directly over felt or a new decked roof. |
